This, my friend, is what you get when an internationally acclaimed, independent brewery met up with a well regarded underground art ‘zine for a beer and a hangover on a barge. And decide to do a collaboration.

With Pavement Licker, James and I always thought the name lended itself to a booze of some kind and the Verdant X Pavement Licker collaboration beer is a punchy, limited edition double IPA, using Ekuanot, Sabro, Amarillo, Galaxy, Idaho7 and Simcoe hops, and it tastes like stone fruits, orange blossom, pine needles and grapefruit skunk with a coconut finish. As Pavement Licker’s mission is to continuously promote artists to new audiences, the labels feature some of their favourite contributions from past issues. What better way to get new art into peoples faces than with a delicious beer, made by the best in the business?
