Here’s Issue 3 of the mighty MARVIN Magazine that I’m Executive Editor of, and it’s so, so good. They get better and better. This one is PACKED. Working again with Editor-in-Chief Marvin Scott Jarrett and Art Director Gary Koepke, this one features… blackbear on the cover, interviewed by Ella Kemp, shot by Christian Witkin and styled by Damian Collins, I did a fantastic (if I say so myself) interview with Thundercat, shot by Jonathan Weiner and styled again by Damian, Mat Osman interviewed The Horrors, beautifully shot by Mr Tom Oldham himself, styled by Izzi Gloom and HMU by Phoebe Walters. Tracy Kawalik spoke to HMLTD and Dan Wilton shot them in a playground, Oli Keens caught up with Rostam who was photographed by Nick Walker. Niall O’Brien went to the legendary RISK’s compound to take the photos alongside Roger Gastman’s interview, Ben Allen interviewed Inhaler, shot by Rich Gilligan and made to look even better by Gareth Bromall, Cameron Cook interviewed Kenny Hoopla, shot by Jesse Lirola, There’s a feature with Travis Barker who’s in our new Sound and Driven series and Karl Smith caught up with fashion designer Juun.J whose portraits were taken by Hong Jang Hyun. Cullen Poythress write about the great skate/street culture film All The Streets Are Silent and I also spoke to the great man Mez from LIFE, “indie Boudicca” Self Esteem, Audrey Nuna, Jawny, and Genesis Owusu. Told you it was packed…
